Along the way, enjoy plenty of fun commentary from your guide, ask questions, take pictures, and see and hear more about the Mile High City, past and present! You’ll kick off your Discover Denver Bus Tour at Union Station and then we'll hit the streets, rolling past some of our favorite Mile High City highlights, including Larimer Square, Denver’s oldest block featuring beautiful 19th-century architecture.

We'll pass by world-class museums like the Denver Art Museum, an ultramodern and super unique complex, explore LoDo together, cross over the pedestrian-friendly 16th Street Mall, hear the heist stories of the U.S. Mint, see the famous Mile High Steps at the Colorado State Capitol, and so much more. Your Denver bus tour wraps back up Union Station so that you can enjoy some of the amazing restaurants, bars and shops nearby after you're done exploring the beautiful Mile High City with our crew.

Meeting Place:

  • The flagpole in front of Union Station. The flagpole is located on the west corner of 17th and Wynkoop

  • Union Station address: 1701 Wynkoop St. Denver, CO 80202.

  • Be sure to arrive by 1:20 p.m., at least 10 minutes prior to your bus tour departure time to ensure you do not miss the arrival and departure of the bus. All Denver bus tours do start and depart on time.

  • Tours operate rain, snow, or shine and when events are happening at or around Union Station.​

  • Your local tour guide/driver will be wearing a neon yellow Discover Denver Bus Tours shirt and will arrive just a few minutes before your tour's scheduled departure time in your comfortable 14-passenger shuttle bus with a picture of the Denver skyline on the side.

 

Ages:

  • All ages are welcome!  Will your kid(s) like the downtown Denver bus tour and exploring LoDo and other areas of Denver? That really depends on your kiddo(s)! Our Denver sightseeing tours are suitable and designed to be enjoyed by all ages. Your guide is trained and experienced to keep the experience and stories fun and engaging for everyone. Youth ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Odds & Ends:​

  • The shuttle bus is not wheelchair and stroller accessible.

  • Don't forget to bring water and dress in comfortable layers for Denver's ever-changing weather for disembarking at the photo stops!

  • Touring with a local is a great activity to do on one of your first days in town!

  • If you are not feeling well or have any cold or flu-like symptoms, please stay home and follow CDC guidelines and common sense for self-isolation and medical care.

  • Please feel free to bring a mask with you and wear it if you would like to. Mask use is currently optional.

  • This tour has a four guest minimum in order to operate. Tours with less than four guests booked will be cancelled and guests will be contacted with alternate options.
